We have a couple of Windows 2008 R2 domain controllers and installed IE11 and added inetres.adm to the Administrative Template.

When i start up gpmc i couldn't find the option to use the enterprise mode option
It should be \Computer Configuration\Policies\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Internet Explorer

After reading a couple of blogs where people told me to add some hotfixes and KB articles, that didn't help me.

I had add the inetres.adm to the admistrative template and looked in

C:\Windows\PolicyDefinitions\InetRes.admx
C:\Windows\PolicyDefinitions\en-US\InetRes.adml

I opened the file and looked for text "enterprise mode", yes the options where there.
So why was the enterprise mode option not visible in my GPO.

Then it hit me.
When i opened the the GPMC.msc i saw Administrative Templates

But with a better look is saw

And then it Hit me.
I created a central strore in the past, so i was looking in the wrong place (Administrative Templates ....Retrieve from the central store.)
I should be looking in the central store on \\FQDN\SYSVOL\FQDN\policies and \\FQDN\SYSVOL\FQDN\policies\en-us
When i opened the interres.admx and inetres.adml file and did a text search the option of Enterprise mode was not there

So after creating a backup i had to copy the two files from 

C:\Windows\PolicyDefinitions\InetRes.admx
C:\Windows\PolicyDefinitions\en-US\InetRes.adml

And replace the files in

\\Test.Microsoft.Com\SYSVOL\Test.Microsoft.Com\Policies
\\Test.Microsoft.Com\SYSVOL\Test.Microsoft.Com\Policies\en-us

 

And Voila !

The Enterprice mode option was there
